THE SHORT ANSWER
The Adizero Adios 9 replaced the Adios 8 in early 2025 at $140. It went full racing flat: full-length Lightstrike Pro, an ounce lighter at 6.2 oz, and the Torsion rods deleted, which left a narrow, counter-free heel that lab testing flagged as a real hazard for heel strikers. A stability-restoring Adios 10 has been previewed but has not shipped.
