Every year, running brands discontinue beloved shoes or change them in ways loyal runners hate. The runner then searches for answers and finds forum threads, dead links, and advice like "check eBay." This site exists to answer those searches properly: model by model, version by version, with the specs side by side and a plain verdict.

Every page follows the same rules. The direct answer comes first. Differences are stated with numbers. Flaws get named, because a recommendation that never criticizes anything is an ad, not a recommendation.

Where the data comes from

Specs are compiled from manufacturer listings and independent lab measurements, then checked by hand. Weights are men's US 9 unless stated. When a manufacturer never published a figure, we say so. Found an error? We want to know about it.

How we make money

Amazon links. When you buy through one, Amazon pays us a small commission and your price does not change. We never see live prices while writing, we never rank a shoe higher because it pays better (it does not work that way), and stock claims are dated so you know when we last checked.
