The Hurricane is Saucony's premium stability shoe, the supportive twin of the Triumph and the plush step up from the Guide. From 2015 to 2019 it was the Hurricane ISO 1 through 5; the 22 (2020) dropped the ISO name and upper, moved to PWRRUN+ bead foam, and kept a medial post. Then Saucony killed the line after the 23. For two years the official answer was the Tempus (June 2022), a lighter PWRRUN PB shoe in a PWRRUN frame that reviewers liked and Hurricane loyalists did not accept, and the Tempus still sells alongside this line as a separate model with no page here. The Hurricane 24 (July 2024) revived the name from scratch: a 38 mm max-stack shoe on a 6 mm drop with no post, its stability coming from a firm PWRRUN frame and a wide, high-sidewalled platform. The 25 cut most of an ounce, and the 26 (current, 2026) swapped in incrediLUX foam and came out at 9.2 oz, the lightest Hurricane ever. This page tracks the 22 onward.

Most runners skip a version or two rather than buying every update. These compare a version against the one two updates on, with the net change rather than a single step.
We ranked the shoes that ride closest to it (a plush, high-stack stability cruiser with a firm foam frame instead of a post) and called out the honest differences.
