THE SHORT ANSWER
The Structure 24 replaced the Structure 23 in fall 2021 and changed almost nothing: a plusher, slightly roomier upper, small internal tweaks that made the support a little more noticeable, and 0.8 oz more on the scale.

At a glance
- The Structure 24 is 0.8 oz heavier
- Drop is unchanged at 8 mm
- New midsole foam
Every spec side by side, with the reason behind each change: Structure 23 vs 24.
Stay on your shoe, or switch?
Faithful successorThe 24 is the 23 with a plusher upper and a little more heft. Doctors of Running graded it well and spent half the review arguing that Nike should just call it a stability shoe again. If the 23 worked for you, so does this.
Stick with the Structure 23 if
- The 23 fits and closeouts run cheaper; the platform is the same
- Every fraction of an ounce bothers you; the 24 gained 0.8
Move to the Structure 24 if
- You want the plusher, roomier upper
- You want the support cues slightly more noticeable in the same ride
Where the Nike Structure is now
The line has moved three versions past the Nike Structure 23, and the current model is now the Structure 26 (2025). Measured against your shoe:
- The Structure 26 is 0.2 oz heavier
- 16 mm more heel stack
- Drop moved from 8 mm to 10 mm
- New midsole foam
- List price up $25
What loyalists said about the update
Quietly appreciated. Reviewers praised the durability and value, called it a stable-neutral workhorse, and kept up the same complaint from the year before: heavy, a bit dated, and Nike still would not say the word stability.

The Adrenaline is the default comparison in nearly every Structure review, and it made the same transition Nike did, from a medial post to unobtrusive guidance. It runs a little softer, fits a little wider, and updates more predictably.
Against your Nike Structure 23: 0.4 oz heavier, 15 mm more heel stack, 2 mm more drop, $25 more at list.

- 10.5 oz

The Kayano is the premium cross-shop: heavier, springier, and $25 or more above the Structure, with support built into a tall, sculpted platform. The step up for runners who want more shoe.
Against your Nike Structure 23: 0.3 oz heavier, 17 mm more heel stack, the same drop, $50 more at list.
Questions runners ask
- Is the Nike Structure 23 still available?
- For now. Amazon still lists the Nike Structure 23, but the size run is thinning and prices swing with remaining stock. If your size is there, this is the late window, not the early one.
- Is the Structure 24 a downgrade from the Nike Structure 23?
- No. The Structure 24 keeps the same ride and fixes small things. If you liked the Nike Structure 23, the update carries over without an adjustment period.
- How much heavier is the Structure 24?
- 0.8 oz heavier in a men's US 9: 11 oz against the Nike Structure 23's 10.2 oz.
- Is the Nike Structure still made?
- Yes. The current version is the Nike Structure 26, released in 2025, 3 versions on from the Nike Structure 23.
- What is the closest current alternative to the Nike Structure 23?
- The Brooks Adrenaline GTS 25. The Adrenaline is the default comparison in nearly every Structure review, and it made the same transition Nike did, from a medial post to unobtrusive guidance. It runs a little softer, fits a little wider, and updates more predictably.
