The 16 to 17 handoff is a drop question and almost nothing else. Brooks kept the foam, kept the fit, and moved the drop from 12 mm to 10 mm by stacking 3 mm of foam under the forefoot. That group is why the 16 became a stock-up target instead of a clearance item: it is the last Ghost built on the geometry this line ran for a decade.
